YOUR VRA
VRA is 'run' by two sets of personnel:
- The employees, which carry out day-to-day activities
- The Executive Committee, which oversee the activities of the Association.
There are 12-15 members of the Executive Committee, which is elected every 2 years from among the membership, and they oversee the role, function and strategy of the Association, and provide views, advice & guidance to the staff.
The most recent election took place at the virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM) in December 2023. A position on the Executive Committee is open to any member.
Together, the staff and Executive Committee operate the VRA for the benefit of the membership.
Staff and the Executive Committee are in day-to-day contact, but also meet formally 2-3 times a year.
